The owners of this 1960’s cottage wanted to maintain the cozy charm of the house while creating a carriage house feel. They also wanted room to park their vehicles. In the course of creating this award-winning design, we added a cobblestone-look driveway from the narrow street through a new arbor to a graded flat area large enough to park and turn maneuver their vehicles. We continued the cobblestone theme throughout, adding terraces and walkways. We were able to protect the existing mature trees, incorporating them into an otherwise completely new landscape.
